i got this from kendra. she said that dr phil makes his guests fill this thing out called 10*7*5 (10 defining moments in your life, 7 critical choices you have made, 5 pivotal people that have written on the slate of who you are). in reading what she wrote, i almost started crying. so i decided to write my own, i don't have all of them right now, but i want to be able to change them over time...

10 defining moments in your life:

1. when i decided my sophomore year to commit myself fully to God.

2. the day i made the decision to keep my family at foothills christian church.

3. the day i met a blind/deaf girl names maria in mexico. it was there on that day my junior year that i learned to trust God with all of my heart. she taught me to not be afraid to place my life in His hands, even though i still struggle with it today, it's something i'll never forget.

4. meeting Preston Chewning and being head of heals for him. he was a great boyfriend but we weren't in the place we needed to be in our lives to be in a relationship. i was, after all, in 8th grade.

5. when Preston broke up with me. even though i didn't realize this right away, i have now realized that the things that happened with him needed to happen so i could be at the place i am today. if we hadn't broken up, and i didn't start dating kirby waller and we didn't break up, i wouldn't be at foothills.

6. realizing that i don't want to be like my brother Justin. i love him to death, but i don't the lifestyle he lives. I don't want to be into partying and not believing in God.

1. to live my life for God beyond what my parents have raised me to do. that now that i'm old enough to decide for myself, i have still decided to go to church and live my life for God.

2. staying in san diego for school.

4. asking sarah sheldon to by my mentor.

5. going on the mexico missions trip over the spring break of my junior year.
